New homes at Middleton Field
There has been plenty of recent activity at our Daylesford project Middleton Field.
The new homes for the 2025 series of Channel 9’s The Block located at the eastern entrance to Daylesford in Middleton Field are now well advanced.
Many regional builders and local trades assisted with the work to complete the steel ‘bones’ of the five new houses along Cedar Lane before the show’s contestants arrive to turn them into homes.
Excitingly filming of the popular TV show will commence on Friday this week coinciding with Daylesford’s ‘Rainbow Circus Spectacular’ ChillOut Festival. The annual festival has grown to become the biggest queer pride event in regional Australia, and the largest festival in the Hepburn Shire.
In a recent interview with local newspaper The Local produced by TL News - Executive producer of The Block Julian Cress spoke about his excitement for the start of filming, its positive impact for local businesses in the region and ultimate contribution to the Daylesford community.
