Established in 2017, there has been a clear evolution for Hygge Property as a design-led developer bringing considered and sustainable urban living to regional Victoria.

Inspired by a shared passion for creating exceptional places, Joseph van Dyk and Adam Davidson are the people behind Hygge Property. Together they have over 30 years development experience and possess an intimate knowledge of local property markets.

Hygge Property continues to grow by collaborating with a trusted network of partners to deliver unique sustainable projects and the best development outcomes for all involved.


 

ADAM DAVIDSON
DIRECTOR

Adam has over 15 years’ experience in the development industry having previously worked at Villawood Properties, Peet Limited and Mirvac.

He has focused on master planned residential communities, challenging infrastructure planning and delivery issues and mixed-use developments.  He also has experience with managed funds, joint ventures and project delivery agreements, including facilitating significant project acquisition, management, and disposal initiatives.

Adam currently sits on the Regional Geelong Chapter of the Urban Development Industry Association (UDIA) committee.  

JOSEPH VAN DYK
Director

Joe is a Ballarat local and passionate supporter of regional Victoria. He has over 15 years’ property development experience in Australia and the UK, specialising in residential and mixed-use developments.

His experience includes site acquisition, complex joint venture structuring, legal, finance, planning, design, sales and delivery across multiple projects. He has also been heavily involved in stakeholder management, particularly with affordable housing providers, government departments and infrastructure authorities. 

Joe currently sits on the board for the Ballarat International Foto Biennale and is an active member of Committee for Ballarat.  

 

 
 

As innovative problem solvers, the Hygge Property team work comfortably across land, townhouse or apartment projects and prefer sites with interesting heritage opportunities or conditions involving a creative response.
