Yearly wrap, now running into 2023!

On the horizon at Middleton Field, artist impression of the townhouses in The Village designed by Breathe.

Can you finish a year without a round up? 2022 was a busy one with key milestones achieved for many of our projects. Some of the highlights for the Hygge Property team included:

  • Completing Nightingale Ballarat with Nightingale Housing, regional Victoria’s first carbon-neutral apartment project designed by Breathe.

  • Winning the UDIA Victoria Award for Environmental Excellence for Nightingale Ballarat.

  • Launching Lyons Place designed by Chamberlain Architects in Ballarat Central and The Roads in Mount Clear, with construction for both projects starting early 2023.

  • Working through construction at Lydiard Park in Ballarat North with townhouses by Porter Architects looking fantastic and set for completion early 2023.

  • Starting construction at The Bottleworks designed by Chamberlain Architects in South Geelong, with framing for the townhomes now well underway.

And for 2023? The Hygge team have been working with Hepburn, Geelong and Ballarat local councils on future projects throughout regional Victoria.

In DAYLESFORD the team are growing the Middleton Field neighbourhood with options for larger lifestyle lots and sustainable townhouses designed by Breathe on the horizon (see artist impression).

In the GEELONG CBD plans are evolving for eco-lux apartments designed by Cera Stribley Architecture located at the doorstep to The Waterfront and The Arts Precinct.

And in BALLARAT two projects are continuing through planning:

  • Black Hill - new townhouses fronting Chisholm Reserve, designed by Porter Architects.

  • Bakery Hill - the regeneration of a former industrial site with plans for retail, commercial, residential and public open spaces, designed by Six Degrees Architects.

Excitingly the team have also set in place the long-term acquisition of a large new land holding in Ballarat East, providing Hygge with the scale and opportunity to continue the push to redefine sustainable urban development in regional Victoria.

Bring on 2023!
