Riding to raise funds for FECRI

Ballarat-based Butler Chartered Accountants are once again supporting the Fiona Elsey Cancer Research Institute (FECRI) by participating in this year’s Murray to Moyne ride.

The Murray to Moyne is a team relay event where participants raise funds for hospitals, health services and health related charities. The event continues Graham Woodrup’s dream of getting more people to realise the health and social benefits of riding a bike.

The 2023 event will see Butler’s Director, Isaac Manley, and his team ride the 520km from Mildura to Port Fairy on the 1st & 2nd of April as part of the Jimmy Allsorts.

This year, Hygge have come on board as Isaac’s rider sponsor.

Led by Professor George Kannourakis, the Ballarat based FECRI is making a world class contribution to cancer research. They are non-government funded and rely on the generous support of the community to continue research into more effective ways to diagnose and treat cancer.

Over the last 2 years, the Jimmy Allsorts team has raised over $125,000 for the FECRI and their goal in 2023 is to raise another $50,000.

Please join us in supporting Isaac and the Jimmy Alsorts team for the ride by making a tax deductible donation to FECRI here.
