Lydiard Park residents move in!
The lights are on at Lydiard Park with owners progressively moving into their new homes.
Building work by local contractor Fabrikon Constructions is complete and landscaping featuring crepe myrtle and capital pear trees alongside a range of shrubs, grasses and groundcovers, has been installed.
Located on the border of Soldiers Hill and Ballarat North, the Lydiard Park neighbourhood has a distinct but diverse residential character including a mix of older established housing and examples of newer development.
An impressive addition to the Lydiard Street North streetscape, the contemporary design by Ballarat firm Porter Architects uses black timber and cladding paired with a textured cream brick.
Once the landscaping and new residents have settled in, we look forward to sharing images of the finished built design including the curved brick entryway to Lydiard Park and the view of the new homes from Marks Reserve.
Homeowners are getting to know their new neighbours and the wider Ballarat North community including local coffee gems Common Ground and The Tin Roof. New resident stories about life and community at Lydiard Park will also be shared soon.
TOWNHOUSE ONE
An opportunity exists to purchase a home at Lydiard Park with Townhouse One fronting Lydiard Street currently listed for sale with local agent Buxton. As one of the larger townhouses at Lydiard Park, the home has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and 2 car parking spaces.
