First homes at Middleton Field

Our Daylesford project has reached a special milestone with the first homes in Stage 1 of the Middleton Field neighbourhood starting construction. Some of the first homes have been designed and will be built by Ballarat based businesses Bryan and Petersen and JV Dodd.

Landscaping is also underway with Stage 1 nature strips recently seeded by Flora Victoria with a unique wildflower and grasses 'meadows mix'. The mix aims to provide biodiversity, create habitat for pollinating insects and promote soil health and carbon sequestration throughout the neighbourhood.

Civil works for Stage 3 including larger homesites over 800sqm enjoying views of the Wombat Botanic Gardens are also nearing completion, with titled homesites available mid-year.

Designing and building a new home at Middleton Field

Purchasers of land in Middleton Field can design and build their home with a preferred designer and builder.

The Middleton Field Design Guidelines are the place to start the homebuilding journey. Building on the strong character of Daylesford, the Design Guidelines explain the vision in creating Middleton Field and the objectives to bring that vision to life. 

By establishing a clear framework towards sustainable design, consistent character and generous landscaping, the Guidelines are key to creating a lasting legacy for the future residents at Middleton Field, the wider Daylesford community and the environment.

Home packages at Middleton Field

Home packages have been released on two titled corner homesites at Middleton Field.

The new homes ‘Trentham House’ and ’Breezeway House’ will be located at the entrance to the new neighbourhood, a short 5 min walk to some of the Daylesford’s best cafes and restaurants including the popular Sunday Market.

Offering a transparent and certain approach to the design and price of an architect-designed home, the packages are ready to be built now as your new home or weekend retreat.
