Asthma Awareness - BBQ at Lyons Place
In September, Lyons Place builder Figurehead Construction held a BBQ on site at Lyons Street North to raise funds for the Zoe Kennedy Foundation as part of Asthma Awareness Week.
The Foundation is very close to the hearts of the Figurehead team, and aims to improve Asthma outcomes in young people, in memory of Figurehead Construction Manager Lach Kennedy's daughter, Zoe, who died suddenly of an Asthma attack in 2020.
Since inception, ZKF has raised over $300K and funded a PHD, spacer innovation research and training devices for emergency departments to treat airway emergencies. The foundation holds an annual Tribute Match in Geelong to further raise awareness of Asthma Triggers, particularly for kids playing sport.
The Hygge team joined other local Ballarat contractors on Friday at the BBQ to help Figurehead raise awareness and funds for ZKF. Photos from the day shared by Figurehead above.
