Embracing winter in Mount Clear

1 June 2022

Winter has certainly arrived in Ballarat!

Even though it is cold outside, there is still plenty to do in the Mount Clear area - the home of our newest project The Roads.

Warm up with a hot chocolate at a lovely nearby cafe, collect fresh organic vegetables from Spring Creek Organics Farm Shop, rug up and walk the Canadian Creek trail or get adventurous with a muddy bike ride through the Woowookarung Regional Park

Home of Australia’s first Dementia-friendly Forest and Sensory Trail, the Woowookarung Regional Park is a 641 hectare park ideal for nature lovers. Woowookarung means ‘Place of Plenty’ and true to its name, the park is a haven of trails for walkers, runners, gravel cyclists and horse riders. Read more about the park here.

Excitingly this year the Buninyong Village Winter Market returns in July (with craft, food art and music) at the Buninyong Town Hall - a 7 minute drive from The Roads. Perhaps stay for dinner at The Shared Table - a well regarded Buninyong restaurant with a fresh seasonal menu.

If these winter activities sound good to you, don’t wait to secure one of the remaining homesites in Collection Two at The Roads. Your new lifestyle awaits!

Surrounded by natural bushland - birds eye view of The Roads.
